Case Study: Louis Vuitton Savior-Faire Jakarta Exhibition
Louis Vuitton’s latest exhibition, Savior-Fair, finally arrived in Jakarta to showcase the Les Objects Nomades collection, Maison’s trunk, and Exotic leather collection.
MM Galleri had an opportunity to partner with Kezia Karin Studio to design and display two installations for the prestige exhibition, Bended Marble Coffee table, and Curved Walls & Floors. Kezia Karin Studio is no stranger to MM Galleri as both had completed several high-profile luxury projects such as the Grha Corpus Office. Together, the two companies continued to aim for perfection in the exhibition.
The first installation is in a form of curved marble walls and the modular floor made of Noir Sahara marble. The dark marble was chosen for its subtle white and yellow veins. As marble was only used within the cellular room, it signified and elevated the installation without taking away the focal point of the collection. The Noir Sahara marble for the wall was curved using MM Galleri’s patent marble bending technology that allowed the 8mm thin marble to bend.
The second installation continued to show the surreal and creative design of MM Galleri and Kezia Karin Studio. The Curved Coffee Table is made up of 3 different marbles. The top of the table has an avocado-like shape with the 8mm Statutorio Premium and 8mm Nero Marquina joined together, diving the table into two color schemes of white and black. The contrast is even emphasized stronger as the black vein from the white Statuario Premium and white vein from the Nero Marquina intertwined to deepen the design aspect of the table. The grey Peter Breccia marble nicely complimented the color scheme as the stone was bended with MM Galleri Patent Marble Technology to create two pillar-like legs for the table. The installation blended well in with the colorful exhibition, the monochromatic table acted as a supporting piece.
Peter Tjioe as Founder & CEO of MM Galleri Group said the current Covid-19 pandemic situation had hampered the wheels of the economy throughout the world. Therefore, it is a matter of pride for us to participate in the last ‘SAVOIR-FAIRE’ exhibition, especially since this is the first time it has been held in Indonesia. Louis Vuitton Savior-Faire Jakarta Exhibition launched in late 2021. MM Galleri and Kezia Karin Design enjoyed and took pride in their contribution to the successful exhibition.
