Grha Corpus
Grha Corpus is the main office of Corpus Group, a financial and management consulting company that was established in 2004. The project was designed by Kezia Karin Studio, an interior design group that is reputable in the region for completing several outstanding designs in Indonesia. The group was no stranger to MM Galleri and it was an honor for MM Galleri to be able to supply materials to meet the grand design vision of the studio.
The ground floor features a huge guest area. Serpegiante Silvabella/ Emperador Light was chosen by the designers for the flooring, as the beige and vein-patterns helped to create a welcoming feel for the guests.
Moving on to the meeting room, Nero Marquina (3) was used for the floor while the walls employed a wood finish. The contrast between the wood and black marble floor added complexity as the different materials displayed different textures throughout the space. To further demonstrate the concept of juxtaposition in this space, Kezia Karin Studio chose to have two complementary pieces of furniture — a wooden table, and chairs with black and white patterns that matched the floor.
Lastly, the hallways feature guest sitting areas. This part of the building was where the designers went all-out. It was furnished with marble from the columns to the floors with Statuario Classico 1st Marble. The white marble hallways become a canvas for designers to play around, adding intriguing elements such as black and white patterned carpets.
All in all, the project was a huge success for both Kezia Karin Studio and MM Galleri. They were able to transform Grhas Corpus into a luxurious office that reflects the branding of Corpus Group as an excellent financial institution.
