About this stone

Calacatta Gold is a white marble from Italy. The ground is white, crossed by gold and amber veins with finer grey lines between them. This slab is honed, a smooth matt finish. It suits feature walls, floors, bathrooms and tabletops.

How do you care for marble?

Marble is a calcium carbonate stone. Acids such as lemon juice, vinegar and wine leave dull marks (etching) on a polished surface, so wipe spills up at once and clean with a pH-neutral cleaner. A penetrating sealer helps it resist stains; reseal when water no longer beads on the surface.
