Since 2020, our studio has turned designers’ and clients’ ideas into stone paintings — portraits, cultural motifs, lettering and bespoke artworks, each composed in natural stone and made for one wall, one room, one person. There is no fixed catalogue: whatever a designer can imagine, we can make from stone.
Each stone is chosen for its colour and veining the way a painter chooses pigment. Where the stone is translucent, like onyx, light can pass through it and bring the picture to life.
Each piece is formed through machine work and specialist labour, a feat of complex engineering that carries an image, line by line, into the stone.
The result carries the permanence of the material it is made from — an image made once, for its place, and preserved in stone that endures for generations.
